“Murchyk was not with us when we were going to evacuate. He was scared of another explosion, and we didn't know where he was.
Frankly speaking, I didn't think he was alive anymore. Although deep down I hoped he would sit it out somewhere, as he is a semi-wild cat, and he had disappeared for a month in the past. I was glad that he could hunt mice and birds.
Anyways. When the building was hit, we took the kitty, the dogs, and left. A week later we had spotted him on camera near the house. A couple of times we managed to leave him some food and water with the help of people who agreed to climb over the fence.
Since we came back, he hangs on to me and can't eat his fill.
He doesn't let me write anything on my computer, doesn't let me hold consultations in peace, he sleeps with us, eats from my plate, eats his food 6-7 times a day and goes outside for 10 minutes just to do his duty quickly. He looks with such an amorous look, just like a dog. He huddles, purrs, bunts at me with his head, nibbles at my hands when I do something.
We have changed a lot, him and me. He lost weight, shrinked, and I just faded. But now we are working together with human pain. I consult, and he relieves my tension.”

“Коли ми збирались їхати в евакуацію, Мурчика з нами не було. Він злякався чергових вибухів і ми не знали де він.
Якщо чесно, я вже не думала що він живий. Хоча десь глибоко надіялась, що він пересидить десь, бо він напівдикий кіт і в нього були загули на місяць. Я раділа що він вміє ловити мишей та птахів.
Так от. Коли бахнуло по будинку, ми забрали кіцьку, собак і поїхали. Через тиждень ми побачили його біля дома на камері. Пару раз вдалося залишити йому корм і воду через людей, які погодились лізти на паркан.
Відколи ми повернулись він не відходить від мене і не може наїстися.
Він не дає мені писати щось на компі, не дає консультувати спокійно, спить з нами, їсть з моєї тарілки, їсть свою їжу 6-7 разів на день і виходитьна вулицю на 10 хвилин, тільки щоб швиденько зробити свої справи. Він дивиться таким закоханим поглядом, як собака. Тулиться, мурчить, бодається головою, прикусує мої руки, коли я щось роблю.
Ми з ним дуже змінилися. Він схуд, зменшився, а я просто змарніла. Але ми разом тепер працюємо з людським болем. Я консультую, а він знімає мою напругу.”
