“Сьогодні мені 28.
6 годин з цього дня я провів в операційній, оперуючи пораненого.
Сьогодні я вперше в житті виконував операцію на відкритому серці, аорті та легенях, оці та кінцівках одномоментно – осколки дуже підступні.
Ще трохи більше трьох тижнів тому я зовсім по-іншому уявляв своє життя, радів разом з пацієнтами результатам своїх естетичних та хірургічних операцій, міг зустрітись із друзями в вихідні за вечерею в ресторані, сходити в кіно.
Але все це зараз здається якимось сном, нереальним.
В нормальних умовах щоб мати доступ до оперування таких складних випадків хірургу має бути далеко за 30, має бути категорія, безліч курсів підвищення кваліфікації. Мені в цьому плані «пощастило» дещо більше.
Себе зараз я порівнюю з дитиною, яку щоб навчити плавати кидають на глибину. Але плавати я все ж навчився.
Звичайно для хірурга це закалка, це тільки на користь, але краще я б це робив в мирний час.
В свій день народження я бажаю всім скорішого миру та припинити цей тероризм над мирними людьми. А тому, хто в цьому всьому винуватий - відчути на собі все те, що сьогодні відчув цей поранений, тільки в 100 разів сильніше.”

“Today I turn 28.
6 hours of my birthday I spent in the operating room, performing surgeries on the wounded.
Today, for the first time in my life, I performed the surgery on the open heart, aorta and lungs, eyes and limbs at the same time – the fragments are very sneaky.
Three weeks ago, I had a completely different idea of my life: the results of my aesthetic and surgical operations made both me and my patients happy, I could meet friends on the weekends for dinner at a restaurant or go to the movies.
But all this now seems like an unrealistic dream.
Under normal circumstances, to have access to the operation of such complex cases, the surgeon must be well over 30, as well as have a special category and pass many training courses. I am "lucky" in this respect a little more.
Now I compare myself to a child who is thrown into the depths to teach how to swim. Despite everything, I learned.
Of course, for the surgeon it is training, it is only for the benefit, but it would be better if I did it in peacetime.
On my birthday, I wish for peace to come as soon as possible and for the terrorism on peaceful civilians to stop. And to the one who is guilty of everything, I wish to feel on their own all the pain that the wounded felt today, only 100 times stronger.”
