Part 1: Born on June 7, 1927 in Coniston. His father came to Canada in 1913.
Ukrainian community in Coniston. Mr.Khmara, Mr. Veselen’kyi. Fed’ Bihun (??); Iurko Riabyi. The first priest was Vasyl’ Pidpivchak (???). Kaplytsia was built in 1928 when a Catholic church was started being built. Robitnychyi Dim. Father Kominatskyi (???). Mr. Khmara bought the Robitnychyi Dim for $700 so that the building would not be transferred to any other organization outside the community. Discrimination against Ukrainians.
