This series consists of records pertaining the first Ukrainian Folklore course offerings at the University of Albert, as well as the establishment of the Ukrainian Folklore master and PhD degrees. It also includes documents related to establishing several endowments in support of the Ukrainian Folklore Studies: the Huculak Chair Endowment, the Kule Chair Endowment, the Ukrainian Folklore Archives Endowment, the Ivan Franko Ukrainian Scholarship, and others.

The course was developed and taught by B. Klid in 1999 in Augustana College. It was an undergraduate course meeting once a week. There were approximately 15 students in class with different background, non Ukrainian. He received a grant at the time. According to the conditions of the grant, he had to teach a course. Dr. Klid also shared ppt presentations he prepared for each class.

The series consists of photographs and programs of concerts and other events, organized by the Ukrainian National Federation and the Ukrainian National Youth Federation of Canada where Luba and Chester Kuc participated. There are also newspaper clippings about the UNF initiatives such as the Ukrainian School of the UNF, the String Orchestra of the UNF Ukrainian School, the UNF Choir, and the UNYF Choir; UNF and UNYF exhibitions, conventions, and anniversary meetings. Some materials (programs and clippings from newspapers) cover the topic of the Ukrainian National Federation Dancing School and related to it the Ukrainian Dance Festivals. In addition, there are self published UNYF materials designed to help leaders and instructors of junior groups.
