Part of Writings from the War project

"Due to war many unpleasant things happened. I am very worried about the fact that most of my classmates are abroad now and no one can say when will they come back. My close friends don't even chat with me as often, as they used to, and some of them even transferred to other schools. In this situation I am very afraid, that they may stay there for very long and I will not be able to see them again for a long time. The parents of my friend had acquaintances, who lived in Irpen and died, which made me even more worried about my friends. Moreover I often get scared due to explosions, and sometimes I can even hear them at night. As the result I have to sleep in the hallway at these moments, and it is terrible, because my back aches if i lie on the floor for a long time and I still remember, how I couldn't fall asleep because I didn't want to get scared of the airstrikes again. I didn't have to go to the basements a lot, but I remember how I went there and it was very crowded, dusty and there were even people, who stayed there all day long, some of them even were with babies and pets, because they were too afraid. I really hope and believe that this terror will end soon and life will get back to normal, and all people will understand the terror, caused by russian invasion to Ukraine."
