Gordon Gordey documents his dance concepts and libretto, including performance photographs, for the creation of the original folk dance theatre work Shumka’s Cinderella. Shumka’s Cinderella is rooted in Ukrainian regional dance style, the poetry of folk melodies, the spirit of the rise of Ukrainian nobility, the vibrant paintbrush of village arts, and the expressive energy of the European Baroque period. This dance theatre work was created for The Ukrainian Shumka Dancers of Canada. Shumka’s Cinderella has had over 50 major performances across Canada, two tours to China, and major performances in Ukraine.

Six audiocassettes with recordings of the Ukrainian Self-Reliance League meeting on Aug 19-20, 1989 (3 cassettes) and Alberta Ethnic Language Teachers' Association meetings (including constitution debates, 2 cassettes); one cassette with a meeting of unknown organization.

The series consists of seven self-published books on history of families whose ancestors immigrated from Bukovyna, the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

Files 7-16 contain personal letters written by Ivan Lahola to Chuiko, Dr. Klymyshyn, his daughter Lida Lahola, his son Roman Lahola, V. Makar, Okipniuk, P. Savaryn, Soreiko, and correspondence to his relatives in Ukraine.
Files 17-25 contain personal letters written to Ivan Lahola from various individuals.
Individuals include Petro B. Boian, Wladyslaw Fortuna, Mykola Iclymyshyn, Yurij Kowalsky, S. Lewyckyj, Michael Kowalsky, Hryhorii Naniak, Roman Lahola, Mychailp Babii, M. Czujko, Peter Dackiw, Ivor Dent, Bohdan Kcjor, and more.
Files 26-34 contain business letters written to Ivan Lahola from the Dnipro Choir of Edmonton, the Ukrainian Canadian Committee, Ukrainian War Veterans' Assn. of Canada, World Congress of Free Ukrainians, Canadian League for the Liberation of Ukraine, World Congress of Free Ukrainians, Ukrainian Free University Foundation Inc., National Tribune, International Congress of Political Prisoners of Communist Regimes, SUM, PLAST, Ukrainian Credit Union, Taras Shevchenko Foundation, and more.

Yelena Cherweniuk's (the wife of Petro Yakemchuk) two brothers George and Nikola Cherweniuk followed their sister to Canada (1912). George Cherweniuk left a wife (whom he later divorced) and a family behind in Bukovina. Two brothers worked together for a time in Winnipeg, Manitoba, saving money for a farm, however, Nikola elected to return to his homeland, leaving behind his share of the money in return for George's farm in Ukraine. George bough a farm near his sister Yelena, in Andrew. He married Magdelena Fedorak, sister of Lena Fedorak (who became Vasil Yakemchuk's wife). Unfortunately, she died with their infant daughter in childbirth, after which, George moved to Smoky Lake, Alberta.

George Cherweniuk married Domka Wedenivski, who journeyed to Canada by herself in 1926. Her uncle, Sam, owned a hotel in Smoky Lake, Alberta, and she worked there for three years until she met George.

This series contains materials related to Dr Medwidsky's involvement with various organizations throughout his life and career. Included are documents relating the Ukrainian Catholic organizations, Ukrainian Scouts organization Plast activities and reports, advocacy for Ukrainian bilingual education in Alberta, Ukrainian community organizations and events, as well as non-Ukrainian ethnic organizations. The series consists of journals, reports, correspondence, meeting minutes, newsletters, and promotional materials.

• The series consists of several letter written by Holysky and rich correspondence from his son Bohdan (1967-73), as well as Ivan Derkach (1966-72), Petro Krawchuk (1966-73), Pavlo Matsenko (1939-72), Mychailo Petrovskyi (1969-73), Antin Rudnyckyi (1968-72), and other correspondents.
