Maryna Hrymych was part of the team of four scholars who went to Brazil in May 2009 together with Andriy Nahachewsky, Serge Cipko and John Lehr. The goal of this research trip was to explore history, daily life, cultural landscape and traditional culture of Ukrainians in Brazil. Ukrainians started immigrating to Brazil in the end of the 19th century and settled mostly in the states of Parana and Santa Catarina. After the trip, all four researchers donated their photographs to the Bohdan Medwidsky Ukrainian Folklore Archives.

The collection consists of two interviews Maryna Hrymych conducted with Bohdan Medwidsky in Edmonton in 2009

Variety of manuscripts, notes, drafts, newspaper clippings and published scholarly papers of different authors about Ukrainian church (Catholic and Orthodox), texts of sermons, an interview with Roman-Catholic Bishop of Peremyshl Ihnatii Tokarchuk, materials of the Ukrainian Christian movement by Атанас Фіґоль.

The series contains a collection of articles about Bucmaniuk and catalogues of his artworks assembled by M. Chomiak in 1972;
programs of the Bucmaniuk and his students' exhibitions in the 1960s (one of the programs is signed by Bucmaniuk for Parasia Iwanec), a newspaper article about Bucmaniuk, and one reproduction of his painting.

Proofs, photographs of artifacts, and other materials related to the publication of "Ukrainian Weaving Patterns with Instructions" by Doris Yanda. It includes also Yanda's expense account for the book preparation and grant proposals for printing the book.

Museum booklets and leaflets (from Svidnik Museum and others), newspaper clippings and papers on the Carpatho-Rusyn issues, some personal notes, scholarly papers of different authors in the Polish language about Ukrainian culture, border culture, the 'Wisla' operation, "Encyclopedia of Ukraine" booklet, and copies of the following brochures:
