"Боже... І мій малий в перший тиждень мені сказав щось подібне. Коси дибки.
Семирічна дитина каже, що померти не страшно, бо Бог зразу забере на небо, а там бабуся, два дідусі, хтось зустріне. А бути тяжко пораненим - страшно. І побачити, що хтось рідний загинув страшно. Цього й боявся. Все питав перед сном: "Мам, ти ж вночі не спиш? Встигнеш мене схопити на ручки і винести?"
Звичайно, встигну, сину....
А на днях (ми вже місяць в Англії) трапилась ситуація, що я з ним пізнім вечором на краю чужого міста, без інтернету, з розрядженим телефоном, і не приїздить автобус, який курсує раз на годину. Малий каже: "Мам, зараз когось щось спитаєм, не бійся. Мені, наприклад, після бомбосховища нічого не страшно". І додає: "Знаєш, це добре, що ми поночували в тому бомбосховищі. Тепер нам взагалі має бути нічого не страшно".

"God... My little one said something similar to me in the first week. [Made my] hair stand on end.
A seven-year-old child says that it is not scary to die, because God will take you to heaven right away, and there will be a grand-mother, and two grand-fathers, there will be someone to greet you. What is scary is to be badly wounded. And it’s terrifying to see your loved ones die. That's what he was afraid of. He kept asking me before going to sleep: "Mom, you don't sleep at night, do you? Will you have time to grab me in your arms and carry me out?”

And the other day (we have been in England for a month now) I happened to end up with him late in the evening on the outskirts of a foreign city with a dead phone and no Internet, and the bus that runs once an hour did not arrive. The little one says: "Mom, let's ask someone now, don't be afraid. I, for instance, am not afraid of anything after the bomb shelter." And he adds: "You know, it's good that we spent the night in that bomb shelter. Now we shouldn't be afraid of anything at all."
