This work consists of descriptions of Ukrainian wedding customs and wedding songs recorded from Mrs. Olga Savaryn (mother) and Mrs. Olena Prystajecky (grandmother). All songs are transcribed and translated. This collection was a result of a fieldwork project which was part of the assignment for the UKR 422 course at the University of Alberta in the fall term of 1979. This project includes: sheet music, song lyrics, and indexed interviews.

On September 23, 2012, Myrna Kostash co-hosted an event in Edmonton called Zemlya/Nanaskomun (The land/We give thanks): A Ceremonial Exchange of Gifts, which meant to remind there there had once been a relationship between Ukrainians and Indigenous peoples.

The collections consists of photographs of the event, and an article about the event by Myrna Kostash in the albertaviews. As Myrna wrote on her website: "The Ceremony evolved from my desire as a descendent of Ukrainian settlers on Treaty Six land to acknowledge the relationship between my people and the First Nations people through the shared gift of the land. The emphasis was on ceremony and acknowledgement of relationship. The idea of the Exchange of Gifts was mine but I shared the event with my co-host Métis advocate, Sharon Pasula." Andriy Nahachewsky (then Director of the Kule Folklore Centre) and Lynnien Pawluk (Kule Folklore Centre Administrator) participated in the event. Andriy shared a story of his grandfather. Lynnien shared gifts with a representative of the Indigenous community. See the article for detailed description of the event.

Andrew wrote his memoirs at the urging of his granddaughter, Irene Mazurenko, in 1973 when he was 83. He sent them to her as letters. The memoirs tell about his roots, his life back in the Old country, his journey to Canada, and early years in Canada.

The memoirs were written in Ukrainian. Irene got them translated into English while preparing her family history. She inserted some explanations to the text in Italics, when she felt, they would be helpful. They come from her own memories and stories heard in the family. These five typed pages are also a part of this collection.

The collection consists of folk songs recorded during December 1979 for the UKR-422 Ukrainian Folklore course at the University of Alberta. It includes texts of 21 songs collected by Boris Radio from Mrs. T. Gural, Mrs. N. Radio, and Mrs. Hulewich, their biographical information. In addition to transcripts of the songs, Boris translated them. The audio cassette contains recording of the songs and histories of interviewees.

The project "Deshcho pro nashe selo" describes the village (selo) of Zolota Sloboda and the various customs and celebrations within this village as Nadia Olga Vychopen remembers it.

The collection consists of 78 Ukrainian folk tales translated by Olga Vesey, two of her stories: "A Ukrainian Socrates" and "Beautiful Tyotia", eulogy by Nina Westaway, Olga's biography from her personal writing to granddaughter Margaret Olga Westaway in 1990, and family photographs. One collection of Olga's translations of Ukrainian folk tales was published in 1975 as The Flying Ship, which was an award winning children's book. Before she died in 1995, she asked her daughter Nina to publish her stories. Some of them have appeared in other English publications, but have never been published as a collection.

The collection is organized in three series: first contains Olga Vesey's biographical and autobiographical materials, second - translations of Ukrainian folk tales, and third - short stories by Olga Vesey.

Essay 2: "Ukrainian Mixed Marriages" focuses on marriage as a rite of passage. This collection contains a book review and an essay on Ukrainian mixed marriages written by Walter Garbera for his Ukrainian courses.

The collection consists of an essay that analyzes comic elements of Walter Rutka's album "The Ukrainian Cowboy", and an audio cassette, which is a field recording of Walter Rutka singing the following songs: 1) Mansion on the Hill, 2) Bashful Dancer, 3) Homebrew, 4) Lara's Theme, 5) Pryvit, 6) Kolomyika, 7) Molodyi Viter.

The collection consists of Ukrainian proverbs, jokes and comic tales collected in Alberta for Ukrainian Folklore courses taken by Roman at the University of Alberta.

A collection of texts including spring songs (haivky), kolomyiky, religious songs, love songs, wedding songs, Easter songs, harvest songs, as well as descriptions of wedding customs and rituals collected from Alberta residents.

This project includes a collection of wedding and funeral songs with musical scores recorded from various interviewees.

Part I is a collection of songs with music scores as recalled by Kateryna Aponiuk categorized as harvest songs, spring songs, carols and new year's songs , wedding songs. Part II is a record of Christmas customs as recalled by Wasyl Hoshko.

A collection of songs in Ukrainian text sung by Vasyl Diachuk who emigrated to Canada in 1952 from Bukovyna. Includes a biographical sketch of the informant, as well as texts and musical scores to the items collected.

The collection consists of the interview conducted by Larisa Cheladyn with Nadia Korpus in Calgary, and her final essay based on her research and this interview entitled "Through the eyes of Nadia Korpus: A snap shot of Ukrainian dance in Canada from the 1930s to 1970s." The essay examines Ukrainian dance in Canada from 1930s to 1970s as seen through the eyes of one person. It starts in Regina, SK, where Nadia began Ukrainian dancing as a small girl, and then criss-crossed the country as she participated in various summer programs and seminars, taught and created Ukrainian dances and formed her own Ukrainian dance group in Calgary "Rusalka". Ukrainian identity, involvement in the Ukrainian National Federation (UNF), Ukrainian Women's Organization, Summer School "Kursy" in Winnipeg are also discussed.

The collection consists of video and audio recordings of an interview with Peter and Doris Kule conducted by Natalie Kononenko in 2007. This material was used for the Kules' biography that was included into the Champions of Philanthropy book edited by Natalie Kononenko and Serge Cipko.

The collection consists of an interview conducted with Chester Myroslav Kuc by Andriy Nahachewsky and Larisa Sembaliuk Cheladyn on August 20, 2003. The interview focused primarily on Chester Kuc's life story, his youth and his parents' encouragement for him to be active. It also deals with his teaching dance and the founding of Shumka and Cheremosh, and dance in general. Some information about his house and his various other arts and crafts interests: embroidery, pysanky, etc. is included as well.
