"I visited the village and saw my house. There will be twice as much work there as I thought (the roof will have to be changed, because everything is cut down, and the beams are broken because of the explosion), but we will manage it.

In other houses the situation is even sadder. Especially in those which had two or more floors and seemed "too rich" for the Muscovites. They stroke purposefully and aimed one. The worst thing was to see what was left of the house where we hid for the first two days. Everything burned to the ground there.

Among the animals, dogs and even some chickens survived. The cat wandered off somewhere, but considering the fact that other neighbours' cats, which were more domestic, also survived, I'm sure for him. He is very similar to Javelin, who made his way to Volodymyr Viatrovych's company. Only the guinea pigs, that were left in the closed cage by the neighbours, didn’t survive and this hurts the most.

And most importantly – I saw Sashko. I recognized him only by his gait. Well, after the war we will rediscover each other. (Sashko is my husband. From the first day he went to the Territory Defence Forces so we haven't seen each other a month and a half. Since then he has grown a beard and has shaved his head.)

But on the way to Ternopil in Borodianka we met this kid on a box of ammunition near a burnt tank. And now we have our Bayraktar (another version - Bandera, we still hesitate). If ours comes back, there will be two. Life goes on. And victory will be ours.
Because we are from Ukraine.

P.S. The kitty remained Bayraktar.

P.P.S By the way, our cat is back and now we have two — ours and the one from Borodyanka. And Sashko since then volunteered to serve in the National Guard of Ukraine and was sent to the front line, as he says “to finish those bastards”. Now I'm waiting for the victory because I know he wouldn't return until then. He is persistent."

"Побувала в селі, побачила свою хату. Роботи там буде вдвічі більше, ніж думалося (дах таки доведеться міняти, бо весь посічений, і балки вибухом зламали), але справимося.

В інших будинках ситуація ще більш сумна. Особливо в тих, які мали два й більше поверхів і московитам видалися «надто багатими». Били цілеспрямовано і прицільно. Найстрашніше було побачити те, що лишилося від будинку, в якому ми ховалися перші два дні. Там вигоріло все дощенту.

Із тварин вижили собаки й навіть частина курей. Кіт десь загуляв, але, судячи з того, що інші сусідські котики, які були більш домашніми, теж вижили, я в ньому впевнена. Дуже він уже схожий на Джавеліна, який пробився до роти Володимира В’ятровича. Не вижили тільки морські свинки, яких сусіди лишили в закритій клітці, — це найбільше болить.

А найголовніше — побачила Сашка. Впізнала хіба що по ході. Що ж, після війни будемо відкривати одне одного заново. (Сашко - мій чоловік. З першого дня він пішов у Київську тероборону, ми півтора місяці не бачилися. За той час він відростив бороду і погодив голову.)

Зате по дорозі до Тернополя в Бородянці на ящику з-під набоїв біля згорілого танку зустріли оцього малюка. І тепер маємо свого Байрактара (інша версія — Бандера, поки вагаємося). Якщо наш повернеться, буде два. Життя триває. І перемога буде за нами.

Бо ми з України.

P.S. Котик таки лишився Байрактаром.

P.P.S. До речі, і кіт повернувся. Тепер маємо двох котиків: наш і бородянський. А Сашко за цей час записався в Нацгвардію і поїхав на передову "добивати тих чортів". Тепер чекаю перемоги, бо раніше не повернеться. Затятий."
