"My husband wrote:
“We are living in a cottage house now. At the woman’s, she is old. She says she was already thinking of dying, so she has prepared products for her funeral feast. And here we are. She says she has come to life: „Kiddies, eat, drink, and to my health, of course. I am not afraid of anything now and I want to live. Thank you!”
“And what is her name?”, I asked out of curiosity.
“Maria Tarasivna!”
And I am Maria Tarasivna as well! So my husband went to war a thousand kilometers from home, and at the other end of the country, another Maria Tarasivna gave refuge in her house. Things do happen! Life is a real director!
Lots of thanks to this grandmother for taking care of our soldiers!
