"Діти не можуть чекати, поки ми відкладаємо життя.
Це один із уроків війни для мене.
Коли вона почалася, двійнятам було по 4. За ці 8 років вони навчилися вимовляти звуки, читати і писати, рахувати.
Вони стали вище ростом, їхні тіла трансформуються в дорослі.
Ті іграшки, які були важливими колись, зараз уже неактуальні. Улюблені кольори змінилися.
Старший син ходив до 1 класу, коли почався Майдан. Цього року він закінчує школу дорослим юнаком.
І я зрозуміла, що не можу відкладати їхнє дитинство. Щоб не відбувалося - якщо я маю можливість, я стараюся забезпечити для них те, що їм потрібно для щастя саме зараз.
Морозиво? Так, морозиво можна їсти під час війни.
Іграшки? Та лялька була цінною саме у 2015 році, коли наш тато воював під Маріуполем.
Вчитися - зараз.
Гуляти і дружити - зараз. Спілкуватися - зараз.
Любити - зараз.
Бо наші солдати воюють не тільки заради майбутнього, а й заради теперішнього наших дітей."

"Children can't wait, while we put our lives on hold. This is one of the lessons of war for me.
When it started, the twins were 4 years old. During these 8 years they learned to speak, read and write, and they learned to count.
They grew up, and their bodies turned adult.
The toys that were once important are no longer relevant. Favorite colors have changed.
The eldest son was in the 1st grade when the Maidan started. This year he is graduating as a young adult.
And I realized that I could not postpone their childhood. Whatever happens - if possible, I try to provide them with what they need for happiness right now.
Ice cream? Yes, ice cream can be eaten during the war.
Toys? That doll was indispensable in 2015, when our father fought near Mariupol.
Learn now.
Take a walk and be friends now. Chat now.
Love now.
Because our soldiers are fighting not only for the future but also for the present of our children."
